HOMOEOPATHY

I’m sure you noticed that cutting up an onion makes your eyes watery. If you visited a homoeopath for your watery eyes, the homoeopath may prescribe the ‘onion’ (or allium cepa) medicine for you. This process of matching your symptoms to a similar homoeopathic medicine is called the ‘Law of Similars’ or ‘Like cures Like’.

The similar homoeopathic medicine acts like a catalyst in your body, stimulating it to take over the healing process. The body is so amazing; it has an innate capacity to heal itself and return to balance. Obviously, the earlier the imbalance is addressed, the easier the process. This is just one of the Laws that homoeopathy follows to restore balance in the body. Homoeopathy has been in use for well over 200 years and is a gentle, restorative healing art.
